Joan Royer
Vice President, Administration

Joan ensures Biscayne Engineering’s daily operations runs smoothly. She helps establish and enforce office policies and procedures and is responsible for Accounts Receivable and Human Resources.

Prior to coming to Biscayne, Joan worked for Holiday Inn in multiple areas. She began as a PBX Operator, was promoted to Reservation Clerk, and shortly after was promoted to Front Desk Clerk. Her love of numbers and continued growth inspired her to move to the accounting department where she worked her way up to Accounting Manager. Her responsibilities included collections, banking audits, bank deposits, inventory, ordering of supplies, human resources, MOD, and various other duties.

In April 2004, Joan joined Biscayne and was promoted to Office Manager in July 2010 and recently to Vice President of Administration. Joan has consistently demonstrated her skills and willingness to learn. As office manager, Joan performs various duties around the office, has developed a great administrative support team, and maintains a wonderful relationship with our clients. Joan makes everyone’s life a little easier and a lot brighter!
